FireCraft Review was founded in 2019 by a group of food writers, chefs, and outdoor cooking enthusiasts who were tired of reading reviews written by people who'd never actually lit a fire. We believe that the only way to review cooking equipment is to cook with it — extensively, repeatedly, and honestly.
Based in the United Kingdom, we test every product we review in real conditions: British weather, British gardens, British kitchens. We don't accept free products in exchange for positive coverage. We don't write reviews based on press releases. We buy the equipment, we use it, and we tell you what we found.
Our Editorial Standards
Every review published on FireCraft Review goes through a rigorous testing process. We use each product for a minimum of four weeks before writing our assessment. We test in multiple conditions — different weather, different fuel sources, different recipes. We compare against competing products at similar price points.
We are transparent about our affiliate relationships. When you purchase through a link on our site, we may earn a commission. This never influences our editorial opinion. We have given negative reviews to products from companies that pay us affiliate commissions, and we will continue to do so.
